How have you been impacted economically since Sept. 11th?
|
The September 11th attacks may have been a symbolic strike against the
emblem of American economic might, but the overall result has been a direct
hit on the economy itself. Many shoppers are avoiding the malls, and,
with the current anthrax scare, many now fear shopping online or through
catalogs. The travel industry has taken a big hit, and a recession, a
possibility two months ago, now seems like a foregone conclusion.
Have the terrorist attacks exposed how vulnerable our economy really
is? Can anything be done to recover from this economic shock?
